2016 Learning Chinese
( 1 Photos ) Each semester, hundreds of international students come to live in Shui-yuan dorm. For many of them, it’s their first time to go abroad, and speak Chinese. Therefore, they may encounter culture differences and many other challenges when first settle down here. Thus, we hold the Chinese tutoring classes, and recruit local students as teachers to teach international students Chinese every Thursday night, so as to let them improve Chinese abilities. This activity has been popular among local and international students since it started. In the beginning, we have welcome party to match students and teachers for each other; during the semester, the teachers will plan courses for students every week, care for them, and help them adapt to the dorm life as soon as possible; for final term, we’ll hold a presentation, which let international students share their feelings of learning Chinese.
